Meet Susan
Susan was born and raised in Columbus, and her deep roots in this community fuel her unwavering commitment to fighting for equity and justice for all families. As a parent leader, advocate, and community organizer, Susan is dedicated to building power with Parents United for Public Schools and Safe Green Schools to center the voices of those most impacted by poor public school funding and rigged education systems.

HeR work
Susan currently organizes with three parent and family movements:
Parents United for Public Schools (PUPS) – Organizing parents to demand accountability and fair school funding for our schools
Safe Green Schools (SGS) – Fighting for healthy, sustainable learning environments for every child
Columbus Education Justice Coalition (CEJC) – Building collective power to transform education policy and practice
